Val Qualley and Mary Mueller will explain what you absolutely have to know without including unnecessary details that create confusion and leave you feeling overwhelmed! Their methods of record keeping will take between 5 to 12 hours per YEAR, depending on your personal pace! Many previous seminar attendees have successfully used this simple method of record keeping whether their students are going on to college, the military, or vocational training. Both ladies have helped many families with transcripts for PSEO and college applications.
Val has firsthand experience homeschooling three very different teenagers. Her oldest son is currently a senior in college, her middle son is a junior in college, and her daughter is a freshman in college, all three at North Dakota State University. She will share her techniques and show how home schooling through high school can be a positive experience and a blessing!
Mary home educated her five children from 1994 to 2014, and all have pursued a wide variety of vocations and educational options with a focus on avoiding college debt. Three are college graduates so far, two have pursued technical vocations, and one has a master’s degree. Each of her children presented different educational challenges, and she will show how to successfully handle a wide variety of issues in high school with faith and confidence! As an adjunct professor at the University of Northwestern who earned a Master’s degree in 2020 from Liberty University, Mary is knowledgeable about college life both as a student and instructor. She wants to help homeschooling parents develop plans for the high school experience that ensure their students are successfully prepared for enriching lives after high school!
