South Heights CLEP Testing Philosophy

• SHCC believes that taking CLEP tests can be a wonderful way to obtain college credit for college level learning during high school!!  At a low cost of $80, a student can take a test and earn up to three college credits in an area of study. 
• The very best way to prepare for any of these exams is to take a rigorous class in the subject combined with conscientious effort on the part of a student who is willing to apply him or herself diligently to active learning.  A rigorous year or semester of study led by a passionate teacher is a far superior way to prepare than to simply cram to learn facts that may be on the test.
• Special "CLEP Prep  Classes" are not necessary for preparing for a CLEP Test, but rather a high quality class in the subject along with a willingness to study.
